Ted's Procedure for Buying your Home
Buyer Services
Buyers are provided with complete relocation packages with complete information on the area, maps, demographics, qualification forms, closing cost estimates, color flyers of homes for sale and personalized service from Ted, Cornelia and the entire Keller Williams staff!
Buyers are interviewed by Ted or Cornelia to determine their purchase qualifications, preferred price range, family size, schooling needs, recreational and religious preferences and home features desired. From this, Ted's Team will search the Multiple Listing Service (MLS) and schedule a preliminary home tour for the buyer.
After preliminarily touring, buyers' comments and preferences are reviewed so that the home search is direct, concise and fruitful. Forms are provided to the buyer so that they can record their opinions of homes. These forms are compared with Ted's observations of buyer reactions to properties. From this the buyer will have a profitable home tour and will be able to choose their favorite home with little stress!
Buyers have the right to request tax information, data on comparable sales activity, information on home condition. Upon request, Ted will run a market analysis of any property and will provide a complete closing cost estimate and monthly payment schedule.
NORTHWEST HOUSTON'S FM 1960 AREA

THE FM 1960 SUBDIVISION GROWTH EXPLOSION
A contributing factor in the area's accelerated growth is the attraction of Houston's relatively low taxation, attractive prices and cost of living for employee and corporation alike!
The Great Northwest's subdivision explosion was full blown by 1970. The preference that newcomers showed for wooded homesites did not go unnoticed by subdivision developers. The
quiet countryside had evolved into a subdivision area of nearly
75,000 people by 1970. By 1977 the population had skyrocketed to
200,000 and the Wall Street Journal had declared the FM 1960 Area
to be the fastest growing residential community in the United
States.
Keeping pace with the population explosion, the Klein,
Spring, Cypress Fairbanks, Tomball and Aldine school districts
expanded to meet the growing need. All these districts are of high
quality. Residents are active in school boards. This assures a
continuation of the high educational demands from parents employed in
managerial and technical arms of oil, computer, consulting, retail and wholesale industries.
Our most noteworthy neighbor is COMPAQ/HP nestled
comfortably in the middle of our marketing area. Being the fastest
growing company EVER in the United States, it has caused a local
stir of excitement never before encountered.
The area has an overly generous array of airports, public
transportation, shopping centers, churches of all denominations,
nursery schools, discount centers, theaters, bowling alleys,
restaurants and Texas saloons! Entertainment is diversified from
simple movies to concerts as well as dog and horse racing.
Finally, even through the local recession of the mid-1980's, highway and road construction have made great strides in
moving FM 1960 residents to and from work and play. To name a few,
major arteries completed or nearing completion include: FM1960
widening with multiple over/under interchanges, Beltway 8, FM 149/SH 249 widening, Louetta, Stuebner
Airline, Kuykendahl, T. C. Jester and Cypresswood Drive. Also on the drawing
board after year 2000 is the Grande Parkway!
It's an Area where the middle to upper income families
want to live and the opportunity to own an elegant home for one of the lowest prices in the United States continues to exist!
And the future is brighter still!
